Welcome to the UMSL Writing Center

The Writing Center will open for summer session appointments on June 1, 9am.

NOTICE: Due to the COVID-19 and UMSL's campus closure, the Writing Center will be holding all appointments and services online. We are eager and happy to work with you and your writing. However, you will now either choose from a Feedback Via Email appointment, or a Live Chat appointment. If you have any questions, please contact the Writing Center Coordinator, Chris Schott.

We offer both in-person and online appointments. Here's how to get help with us!

1. Register using your UMSL email address. Click on "Register for an account" on the left side of this page.

2. Log in! Find an available day and time that works best for you.

3. Coming to see us in person? Simply show up during your appointment time. You can find us at SSB 222. Currently unavailable due to COVID-19.

4. Want help online? When making your appointment, select “Get Feedback Via Email” to send your writing to us, or select "Chat Live With A Tutor" to chat and work live online. Don't forget to attach your writing and assignment requirements. :)

We look forward to working with you!
